KFC Uganda – SO YOU THINK WE ARE EXPENSIVE?? Pshh…(this is what I would say if I was KFC Uganda's PR guy.

COMPARED TO WHAT?

“KFC prices are too expensive” “That 100k chicken bucket is exorbitant” These are comments that have become so familiar as they make the rounds on social media in Kampala. Our prices have also quite become the topic of choice over a few sun downer beers around bars and living rooms all over the city.
We could bet that every business owner has heard a customer say this, be it true or not. But before we shrug this off and start justifying that our price is just right - let's think about the last person who told you that KFC is too expensive. What were they thinking? And how do you think we could you have changed their minds?

In most cases, everyone is making comparisons, drawing analogies. e.t.c. In other words, you had a price you set in your mind before you actually knew our prices So you had actually made a decision about what you were willing to pay before we told you what we wanted you to pay.

KFC being an international brand means that many of you have come across our franchise across the world and what is happening is that your perception of what is expensive and what is affordable is set by your expectations of what you’d be paying at home...or away for that matter.
We are not selling anything any different than what is already on the market but you have got to realize that the price you pay at KFC is more than just for the chicken – it is for the whole KFC experience
Do not get us wrong – we value your expectations in line with the image we portray and we hope that our prices and quality definitely shape your experiences at KFC. W are just keepin’ it finger lickin’ real.

This writer is simply stating what he thinks could be a rebuttal for KFC and the endless whining over their prices. He also runs LiveWire Advertising - what's up KFC!

  1. KFC promotes its survey by rewarding its customers with coupons to get the KFC cup for free. The KFC Go Cup consists of a few strips of chicken and a few crispy fried wedges. The customer has to purchase at KFC before taking part in the survey. Customer will get a KFC Survey Code on the receipt for the purchase made. Before taking mykfcexperience survey, the customer will be asked to give this survey code.
