Have you noticed that the people who are late are often so much jollier than the people who have to wait for them.........now introducing to you...."THE MENACE"
I have a very good friend I like to call "THE MENACE".... well his name backwards spells out as "SINNED"...lol.... oh how convenient! That should be a very good hint for him when he comes across this and I will vehemently deny this being about him...... is it even about him?? Who knows?
However, you would think that this guy was born 3 months past his due date. "SINNED" is the poster child of tardiness. He really really really struggles with punctuality.It is unbelievable how tardy this guy is. No matter how many times he holds everyone back, I am still disgustingly amazed at how he keeps a very straight face. It's now not really anymore about horribly pathetic poor time management, it's looking like this is gonna be a lifelong pattern. Im not very well versed with his finance patterns but I am almost certain he waits till the last shilling to go to the ATM.lol.
These are a few key examples of how tardy he is.
1. He will order first at the restaurant but will then change his order after everyone is done ordering and this maybe because he heard someone order for something better or he just blatantly wants to annoy everyone by ordering something else.
2.He was supposed to do some work with us at the agency this week and we happened to have a few delays. I met him later that evening and he said he didn't want to be held up for nothing so he wont be able to come and do it the next day unless we called him way way in advance.... the nerve this kid has.lol.
3. He pressures everybody to get ready to go out on weekends. He does take the initiative to freshen up first and change, however, he doesn't wear his shirt till everyone else does.
4.After everyone else is now dressed and ready to go, it's time for the Menace to start making that ever so grand decision whether the shirt he wore looks good on him. By now he should know what answer to expect from everyone.
5.Lastly, everyone walks to the car and just as he gets to the car, he ALWAYS..... and I mean ALWAYS makes a mad dash back to the house for three specific reasons..... change his shirt, dampen his face for freshness and to get a spare shirt. LITERALLY in that order.
By now,everyone is seething in the car and yelling out his name. Then he comes out strolling without a worry in the world and like clock work he asks the same question all the time.....WHAT??
Well, he always gets the same response....NO RESPONSE!
I'm not even disturbed by the fact that he runs late anymore. We all run late every so often but the fact that this happens all the time with him. So I am now questioning my own sanity of how I know it's gonna happen but yet I almost blow a fuse when it happens. I'm starting to think he actually enjoys it.....which he does, to be quite honest. I really put the stamp on this fact when he said he liked Mr Gilbert,the psychotic head of 6 form on the BBC show "The Inbetweeners." Really, of all the hilarious characters, he picked the most sadistic,ironic guy...........thats gotta tell us all something. But again, the Menace is one hell of a great fella. No one makes a Friday nite that much dramatic than he does.
